of Srongtsen Bhrikuti Boarding High School Kathmandu, Nepal. I trust you will find the information included useful, informative and hopefully it will answer most of your questions about this non-profit educational institution affiliated to Snow Lion Foundation, Nepal. The school was actually founded for the Tibetan Refugees but the regional pupils are also provided with the equal opportunity to be a scholar of this institution. In case the applicant seeking admission in this institution is found to be coming from a family with poor economical status, he/she is provided free-scholarship i.e. by offering sponsorship on their request and only after it is proved that the parents of the kid is poor. Approximately half of the students (meritorious and the needy) in our school are provided with scholarship. At present about 700 students are studying from Kindergarten Level to 10th grade. More than 63 teachers and administrative staff and 9 members of school managing committee are involved in running the Institute. The Managing Committee Members consists of Mr. Wangchuk Tsering (chairman), Mrs. Pramila Adhikari (member from District Education Office, Kathmandu), Mr. Thinley Namgyal (Secretary, Snow Lion Foundation), President of Rangdhen Tsokchung (Boudha), the school principal, manager of Boudha Handicraft Centre, two representative from parents and the school headmaster. The school managing Committee takes all the important decision relating to the school management and any undecided cases are submitted to the High Level Committee for necessary instruction, guidance and help. Any educational institutions or individuals could correspond with us who are interested having pen friends or for any cultural exchange programmes. It would be our pride to introduce our rich culture and tradition to you. We have students ranging from 4 to 16 years old. Talking of scholastic achievements, till now, five batches of our students appeared in SLC exams conducted by Ministry of Education, HMG, Nepal. All the performances of our students in SLC exams have been very stupendous by achieving cent per cent results. It provides evidence that we are well established for which we feel worthy of the accolade. At the same time the school family has always been indebted with the generous support from all the sponsors and our well wishers.
